Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please see below for special sale period details.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unwashed or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Skateboard decks must be returned before griptape is applied, we can not accept returns of decks that have been gripped after you've received them. You’ll also need to include the receipt or proof of purchase (this can be your packing slip or original confirmation email).

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

BLACK FRIDAY SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS [VALID BETWEEN November 27th and December 6th 2024]

GECKO SKATE BLACK FRIDAY SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SALE POLICIES:

  • Discounted at Checkout: Your discount will be displayed in the cart at checkout, discount is determined/applied automatically.
  • No Order Changes: Orders cannot be canceled or changed once placed.
  • Final Sale: Items purchased in our Black Friday Sale are final sale and NOT eligible for returns, exchanges, refunds, or store credit unless deemed faulty which will be refunded/replaced when possible.

OTHER OFFERS:

  • No Combining Offers: The Black Friday sale cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers.
  • No Additional Codes: No additional promo codes or personal discount codes can be used during the Black Friday Sale. These will be deactivated during the sale period.
  • Excludes Sale Items: The Black Friday Sale does NOT include items already on sale, or any item placed into the ‘Sale’ category during the promotion period.

STOCK:

  • Stock Limitations: Due to high demand and low stock, some items may sell out quickly. Please keep in mind that we are a small business that can only purchase a limited amount of products to stock our store, we do the best we can to keep a variety of options in stock for our customers at all times.
  • No Re-stocks: We will not be restocking our online store until after the Black Friday Sale period.

ORDER CANCELLATION AND REVIEW RIGHTS:

  • Gecko Skate’s Right to Cancel or Review Orders: Gecko Skate reserves the right to review and cancel orders at any time, including for reasons such as suspected fraud, errors in product availability, or other unforeseen issues. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund to their original payment method, and notification will be provided as soon as possible.

SHIPPING AND DISPATCH DELAYS:

  • Dispatch Delays: Due to high order volumes, expect dispatch delays of 2 days beyond our regular shipping times. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped. Note that express post refers to the method of shipping only.
  • Carrier Delays: Delivery times may be extended due to carrier delays beyond our control. Please allow additional time for delivery, especially during peak periods.

SITE ERRORS AND INACCURACIES:

  • Handling Errors: In the event of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on our website during the Black Friday sale (e.g., product descriptions or pricing), Gecko Skate reserves the right to correct these, change or update information, or cancel orders if necessary. These rights apply even after orders have been submitted.
  • Right to Amend: Gecko Skate reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, including during the sale period. Due notice will be posted on this page if any amendments should occur.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Our 14 day return policy still applies to damaged/wrong products but contact about issues must be brought to our attention immediately, so please inspect your item as soon as it arrives in order to avoid disappointment beyond this timeframe.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. As above, skateboard decks must be returned before griptape is applied, we can not accept returns of decks that have been gripped after you've received them.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
At this time we are unable to offer exchanges due to low stock levels. However, you are more than welcome to repurchase your item separately in another size/style if available on our online store.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@geckoskate.com.au.
